The Parent/Teacher Home Visit Project hosted a fundraising event featuring best selling author Anne Lamott (Operating Instructions, Bird by Bird, Traveling Mercies, Plan B: Further Thoughts on Faith, and many works of fiction) in partnership with The Avid Reader Bookstore in Davis, California.
Ms. Lamott presented a talk on her vision of hope for our youth, families and their teachers, a book reading, Q & A session and book signing on September 14, 2005 at The Grand, 1215 J Street, Sacramento, California. |
