Module 1:
Parents and Teachers as Co-Educators
This interactive training introduces our home visit model,
history, research, steps, and addresses likely barriers
to building effective relationships between parents and
teachers as co-educators.
Module 2:
Increasing Knowledge & Capacity
This training focuses on sharing information about a child’s
academic standing, strengths, and challenges and prepares
teachers with a “tool kit” to increase parent
capacity to assist their children academically.
Module 3:
Creating Systems Change
This training is designed to work with staff to strategize
about systems change to insure that parents and teachers
are recognized and supported as co-educators.
Train the Trainer
Sessions
In addition to offering site trainings, we also provide
unique training sessions in Sacramento or in your community
where we fully prepare your staff as leaders and trainers
in our model of parent/teacher home visits.
